• Present evidence on status of “varietal adoption and quality seed use” in Nigeria, compared to other countries.
• Share some examples/illustrations of strategies/interventions that work in improving varietal turnover and quality seed use.
• Provide data driven results that shows the higher performance of improved varieties over local farmer varieties of tomato and cabbage.
• Provide better understanding and knowledge sharing on drivers/barriers to adoption of improved varieties and cultivation methods.
• Share ways in broadening farmer’s awareness and skills on the use of quality vegetable seeds and advanced cultivation practices.
